With events like Norway’s Arctic Race, there’s always excitement around every corner!
The northernmost road cycling competition on Earth, Norway’s Arctic Race draws cyclists to some of the most breathtaking scenery at the very top of Europe. Sponsored by the Amaury Sports Organisation, the organizing body of the Tour de France, the 2014 Arctic Race wound through four stages of twisting roads that cut through spectacular mountain ranges and past sparkling fjords.
2014 marked the second year for the Arctic Race and saw its stages moved even farther north than its first year, bringing riders through some of Northern Norway’s most picturesque Arctic towns, including Hammerfest, Honningsvag, Alta, and Tromsø.
